Scholarships
We are excited to announce the inaugural offering of the Sojourner Truth Legacy Scholarship! This generous $5,000 scholarship is a collaboration between the Akron Press Club and the Sojourner Truth Project - Akron. It aims to support a promising Akron Public Schools (APS) student who will pursue a degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or public relations beginning in Fall 2024.
Eligibility:
Graduating senior from an APS high school
Planning to major in journalism, communications, marketing, or public relations at an accredited college or university.
